DESCRIPTION
The documents in this Collection cover issues of race, gender, sexuality, and their relation to sexual violence. Covering a wide range of item types, from posters and news articles to letters and websites, this Collection creates a model for including artifacts of race relations alongside artifacts of gender and sexual violence. Thanks to Claire Kaplan, Director of the Gender Violence and Social Change program at the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women's Center at the University of Virginia, who graciously donated some of her personal archives to Take Back the Archive.
