Jefferson Society: a better atmosphere

Viewpoint- "As a woman previously free to argue from the standpoint, "I am a member of the Jefferson Society," rather than, "I am a female member of the Jefferson Society," I am greatly disturbed to have to come to the newspaper to defend an organization whose ideals are as great as its namesake."
