Darden, Students In Accord

Following student complaints of administrative overreach in the wake of discipline meted out to the 12+ students involved in a sexual assault against a 19 year-old woman on April 3rd, President Darden and UVA Student Council agree on a plan for reorganizing student government that includes a nine-member judiciary committee to impose all penalties for student misconduct and the authority for Student Council to recommend charges be dropped "when it finds complaints unfounded or unsubstantial." The implementation of this plan pends a vote of approval by the majority of the student body.
