Throughout the 1990, Iris continued to cover individuals' accounts of a variety of women's issues, as well as fiction and poetry. Issues during this period covered topics ranging from women and wartime to Anne Sexton's poetry, to pornography, trauma, and women's lives in other countries, including Turkey and Mexico. Themed issues focused on Identity, the Home, and Spirituality. As it moved towards the turn of the millennium, Iris became at once astonishingly more capacious and more focused.
