Men Face Little Danger From Women Crying Rape
In response to a previous letter to the editor which asserted the injustice faced by men falsely accused of rape, this letter to the editor argues that one in ten rape cases are considered 'unfounded' largely for lack of attainable evidence (such as the assailant's identity), rather than falsehood, and that only an estimated 2-3% of accusations are false. It critiques the caustic language of the previous letter. Moreover, it asserts the dehumanization faced by women who are raped.Subject | |
