Rape: The Perils Facing the Falsely Accused

This anonymous and caustic letter to the editor expresses indignation at the consequences faced by men falsely accused of rape. Its language is often sarcastic: in response to the statistic that one in ten reported rapes are false, it calls one in ten women who report rape "either deranged or liars." It goes on to assert that false reporting is a mode of revenge on men by "undiagnosed female schizophrenics."
