Sexual violence events may offer important dialogue for survivors

Following the release of the Rolling Stone article, the Middle Eastern and Islamic Student Association organizes a student and faculty rally in the ampitheatre to discuss sexual violence. This article remarks on the psychological benefits of open dialogue about sexual assault, including the optimization of mental health outcomes for survivors who communicate their experience to trusted peers and advisors.
