Sexual Misconduct dialogue wraps up

The University holds its final session of the national "Dialogue at UVa: Sexual Misconduct Among College Students” conference. Rape survivor Salamishah Tillet gives the keynote address, followed by a panel on the complexities of sexual assault adjudication. The panel discussed the disparate requirements for the burden of proof in different adjudication systems, including the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard held by the criminal justice system, in contrast with the preponderance of evidence standard in the college adjudication system.
