Virginia Wesleyan College student files assault lawsuit

A former Virginia Wesleyan College student and survivor sues the college for allowing her assailant, Zachary Kane, to transfer to another college without an expulsion on his record, after he was found guilty by a Title IX hearing. UVA Dean of Students Nicole Eramo remarks that universities are unable to prevent those convicted of sexual crimes from transferring to other universities.
