The Ivory Tower - October 9, 1957
The Ivory Tower, a regular opinion column in the Cavalier Daily, responds to the possibilty that the right to vote and have representation on Student Council be extended to women students at the University. Key quote: "As the females around grounds are not really students, we shall refer to them as 'guests.' This term seems to be more than appropriate as the University was founded by and for males."Source |
