Rape: Avoiding Uninformed Judgment

In response to the Roe rape case, this opinion article challenges victim blaming, asserting that a survivor's sexual history is not causally related to the fact that they were raped. The writer contrasts this with other crimes in which victim blaming does not occur, and indicates that victim blaming may result from incredulity that a rape has occurred.
