Pornography Affects Those Who Do Not Watch It

This letter to the editor objects to a previous editorial by Nathan Wollstein, which maintained that pornography does not contribute to violence against women. Citing Gloria Steinem, the writer asserts that the incidence of throat rape has increased since the release of the pornographic film "Deep Throat." He concludes that there is a direct correlation between pornography, dehumanization, and violence.
