Wake Up, C-ville

This article responds to a previous article about an increase in AIDS, and to the news of two recent assaults and the rape of a 78-year old Charlottesville woman. The writer encourages the community to "open its eyes" to problems of sexuality and violence, and asserts that Charlottesville's small-town image lulls its residence into complacency and blindness to these issues.
