Greater Problem

This letter to the editor responds to a recent incident wherein two sorority members asserted that they had ingested the date-rape drug Rohypnol ("roofies") at a party. The writer asserts that, although the incident has drawn attention to sexual crimes, sexual assault and date-rape drugs are by no means new problems at UVA. She also argues that alcohol consumption increases the risk of sexual assault.
