More than Just Words

This opinion article reacts to a debate over alcohol abuse and safety between the Fraternity Alumni Council and the Inter-Fraternity Council, wherein the FAC recommends banning the use of fraternity money to buy alcohol and the IFC claims this would be an infringement on fraternities' autonomy. The writer of this article argues that both groups have failed to adequately address the student safety concerns associated with alcohol, and asserts that sexual assault is perhaps the most concerning of these.
