2005/09/06 - City man arrested for sexual assault

Christopher Lynn Matthew is arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a University graduate student. It is uncertain whether the assault is related to a string of recent assaults at the University in preceding years. Charlottesville police await the results of DNA testing in Matthew's case. (According to a notice added to the top of this article, Matthew was released after being cleared by DNA test results.)
