2014/11/22 - Students host Slut Walk to protest rape culture, sexual assault

UVA students host a Slut Walk around Grounds to protest sexual assault and victim blaming. The walk featured multiple stops in which students spoke publicly about their experience with or opinion of rape culture at UVA. The walk was primarily concerned with rape culture at the University, following an article in Rolling Stone magazine (later retracted) that described the rape of a student presented under the pseudonym "Jackie."
