Cavalier Daily March 16, 2015 -Kaine, Boxer, Gillibrand introduce new sexual assault resource act

The Survivor Outreach and Support on Campus Act proposes to provide survivors with an independent advocate, who would ensure their access to emergency and follow-up medical care, guidance on reporting assaults to law enforcement, medical forensic or evidentiary exams, crisis intervention, ongoing counseling and information on their legal rights.
