Cavalier Daily Feb 12, 2015 - Sexual assault legislation passes, aids victims, protects college students
The Virginia House of Delegates passes House Bills 1928 and 1930, which would add various acts of sexual violence to the list of violent misdemeanors in the Virginia DNA database, as well as mandatory reporting by university employees to the Title IX coordinator and provision for the counseling of survivors. The bill also confers upon the review committee the right to release identifying information about the survivor, if they see fit.Subject | |
