Cavalier Daily Dec 5, 2014 - Virginia delegates propose revising college safety laws surrounding sexual assault
In the wake of the Rolling Stone article "A Rape on Campus" (later retracted), the Virginia General Assembly proposes a bill whereby college administrators would be required to report felonies committed against a student, and University police would be similarly required to report such instances to the Commonwealth Attorney. The article addresses speculation that this bill would lower reporting rates for sexual crimes.| Subject | |
