Homophobic incidents mar Proud to be Out week
During the 1997 Proud to be Out Week, two homophobic incidents occurred against the week of events. In the first incident, a male student spat on a Proud to be Out Week poster while LGBT Affairs Committee Chairwoman Maria Pulzetti was tabling on the Lawn. In the second incident, a Proud to be Out Week banner that was displayed in the amphitheater went missing.| Creator |
