New Virginia laws set to take effect Wednesday

This list of laws passed in Virginia contains a law about campus sexual assault. Some of the measures approved are a requirement that campus police must report to local prosecutors within 48 hours of starting an investigation into a sexual assault report and registrars are required to make a note on anyone's file who has been suspended, expelled, or withdraws from school if these actions are related to sexual assault.
