Police Find No Evidence of Rape at University of Virginia Fraternity
Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo held a press conference where he revealed the findings from the police department's investigation of "Jackie's" allegations of gang rape at Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house in the Rolling Stone article "A Rape on Campus." The investigation did not yield evidence that confirmed Jackie's allegations, and while the case is currently suspended due to lack of evidence of gang rape, Chief Longo said, "That doesn’t mean something terrible didn’t happen to Jackie on the evening of Sept. 28, 2012."Subject | |
