To the University, 8 December 2012: No man is an island, entire of itself
A call from the Seven Society to the University of Virginia, for a renewal of the "spirit of unity [which] was built into the very bricks of the Grounds", following a series of sexual assaults and hate crimes in the Fall semester of 2012. "To tolerate injustice and descend into apathy is to dissolve these bonds that are the foundation of our community. Each of us must not only recognize what is wrong, but also do what is right. We are all the sons and daughters of the University; as Mr. Donne so well conveys, the hurt of any one of us is the hurt of all of us."
Broadside displayed on the grounds of the University of Virginia in December 2012. In addition to the broadside, seven large banners were hung on buildings around the Grounds.
