Court Case Perpetuated Sex Violence

This letter to the editor reacts to the Cavalier Daily's reporting of the recent acquittal of accused rapist William Thornton Blakey, whose defense attorney argued that the victim invited Blakey into her home. The letter criticizes the irony of the newspaper's placement of the coverage of the trial on the back page, while the front page of the same issue contained a sexually provocative photograph of a woman.
