Schultz, Welsh Plan No Punishment

Three University football players are involved in an altercation with a black woman in a car, reportedly using racial slurs and calling her a "nigger." University Athletic Director Richard Schultz and football coach George Welsh maintain that there is no evidence racial slurs were exchanged, and plan not to punish the three players. In a separate incident, another UVa football player, Malcolm Pittman, is charged with assault and battery for striking his girlfriend.
