Only 99 Blacks Enroll This Year

U.Va. falls short of its annual admissions goal for enrolling black students, as only 99 black students are admitted for 1984-1985. Administrators speculate that this is due to a lack of available scholarships, while representatives of the Black Student Alliance assert that the administration is unresponsive to the problems of black students.
