Gordon Offers Wide Perspective to Blacks

This letter to the editor criticizes the University's administration for failing to formally acknowledge Professor Vivian Gordon's call for a federal investigation into personal experiences of racial discrimination at UVa. The letter asserts that Gordon's teaching offers perspective on black issues to students, and that her departure from UVa would deprive students of an education regarding racial issues.
