Affirmative Action

As two journals at the UVA Law School consider implementing affirmative action among considerable opposition, this letter to the editor criticizes the stance that affirmative action is racially discriminatory to whites. He discusses the ways that whites have benefited economically in the long term by the oppression of blacks, calls for an end to "white skin privilege" and maintains that affirmative action is a means to correct past racial injustice.
