Trial Creates Awareness in Community

The trial Commonwealth v. Keith A. Guerrini, which investigated claims that fourth-year UVA student Guerrini drugged and sexually assaulted a female student, ends in dismissal on the basis of insufficient evidence. However, the UVA community considers initiatives for increasing awareness of sexual violence. Dean of Student Robert T. Canevari and UJC sexual assault subcommittee co-chairman Jay Shailor offer their opinions.
