Maryland Woman Killed in North Carolina by Internet Friend
Sharon R. Lopatka's body is found buried on the property of Robert Glass, a man she met over the Internet who is charged with her murder. Lopatka's final note to her husband reveals that she left him to meet Glass, knowing ahead of time that Glass would sexually torture and kill her, and asking her husband "not to take vengeance." The reason Lopatka proceeded to meet Glass with the knowledge that he would kill her remains a mystery to police.Files
