2004/05/03 - DNA testing of black men questioned in Va.

Following a series of connected rape cases from 1997 to 2004, Charlottesville police have asked over 500 black men to voluntarily provide DNA samples. Steven Turner, a UVA graduate student, and various black community leaders felt the act "amounted to racial profiling" and violated rights.
