Letter to the Editor

A letter to the editor by Roger A. Goodson, Student Council Representative, urges male students--the only students eligible to vote in 1957--to vote "yes" to amend Article 4, Section 12. This amendment would limit membership on Student Council to full-time male students, but would also allow women who attend classes full-time at the University to vote and to be counted as "students." Key quote: "...[It] is not the intention of the supporters of the above amendment that its enactment should result in the election of a woman to the Student Council."
