NOW Not to Protest 'Deep Throat' Show

Cynthia Taylor, president of the Charlottesville chapter of the National Organization for Women, says that NOW will not protest Phi Sigma Kappa's screening of the pornographic film "Deep Throat." Instead, NOW plans to work with the Student Council and Inter-Fraternity Council to combat the screening of pornography on campus, on the grounds that it is degrading to women and leads to sexual violence.
