Letters to the Editor

Three letters to the editor respond to a previous letter to the editor by Bowers, which compared homosexuality to bestiality. A letter written by a gay student ("Public Displays are Natural") asserts that although displays of affection between gays evoke discomfort, this censure is discriminatory. A second letter, entitled "Beastiality (sic.) Parallel Wrong," argues that Bower's stance is exaggerated and perpetuates negative stereotypes. A third, entitled "Homosexual Love is Human," argues that homosexual love is human and proceeds from human reason.
